Professional employees say they’ll quit if bonus doesn’t materialize


New research finds that nearly three-quarters of Canadian workers in professional roles would consider quitting if they don’t get a bonus and high-quality paycheque. The findings point to pay rising in importance after flexibility, work-life balance and mental-health benefits were the priority during the pandemic. Those are still important, but money is a renewed focus at a time of high inflation and interest rates.
