Frances Donald named new chief economist at RBC

Frances Donald is taking on the role of chief economist at Royal Bank of Canada, the country’s largest lender, according to a Globe and Mail report.

Donald, who is currently global chief economist at Manulife Investment Management, replaces Craig Wright, who retired last month.
