Mixed views on CEBA repayment rules


Jan. 18 is the deadline to pay back up to $60,000 in loans that were offered as part of the Canada Emergency Business Account, or CEBA, pandemic-support program. While many businesses lobbied (unsuccessfully) for yet another extension to the loan, others have been pushing for loan forgiveness, and others say it’s time to pay up.
