Canadians continue to see corporate profit-seeking behavior and government spending as the two main drivers of inflation, according to a poll by Abacus Data released on June 27.

The poll found 36 per cent of Canadians believe that companies raising prices to make more profit is one of the biggest factors driving inflation. That’s up 10 points from last year, according to Abacus.

The survey found 28 per cent describe government spending as one of the biggest factors, up five points.
