Minimum wage going up 70 cents for federal workers


Canada’s lowest-paid federal workers will get a raise as of April 1. The minimum wage for federally regulated workers - including air and rail transport, banking and Crown corporations – is going up 65 cents to $17.30 an hour. CTV reporter Katherine DeClerq explains how the wage regime works – and how the federal minimum hourly pay compares to the provinces and territories.
