There has never been a more critical time for a platform like Means & Ways

As we reach our first anniversary, we wanted to thank you for your continued readership. Your support has made Means & Ways the go-to platform for coverage of where business meets politics.

It has been quite a journey and an amazing year filled with insightful analysis and thought-provoking discussion about the policies and issues affecting business and most importantly, Canadians. The fact is, we cannot afford to have public policy decisions and politics play out here in Ottawa without telling the associated stories and dissecting the impact they have on households across the country.

We want to thank Theo Argitis for leading the platform's development. While he will no longer be publisher, we look forward to continuing to share Theo’s insights and those of trusted other voices on the Means & Ways platform every week.

Chris Fournier will remain as contributing editor and help to curate content, putting into practice his many years at Bloomberg covering the economy and financial markets. I will remain editor. Means & Ways will continue to provide useful content, including a snapshot of the hottest political stories, the most compelling economic news and the public policy issues being discussed in boardrooms and political backrooms. We also aim to bring you original reporting and deep dives about the people, the industries and the policies that are shaping Canada.

There has never been a more critical time for a platform like Means & Ways. When politics, public policy and business intersect, the impacts on Canadian households are often significant, and often misunderstood in practice. They can also be consequential to the growth, investment and certainty that is needed to help propel our economy so that Canadians thrive.

Thank you again for reading, and continuing to be engaged!
