Trudeau in Philadelphia to push ‘Team Canada’ charm offensive
The Canadian Press reports that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Philadelphia Tuesday as part of the Team Canada engagement strategy. The visit comes as the federal government prepares for the presidential election and the possibility of Donald Trump’s return to office – a prospect Trudeau has said “won’t be easy.” Trudeau is speaking to the Service Employees International Union quadrennial North American convention, and will also meet with political and business leaders during his one-day trip.
