Wage gains in Canada remain ‘sticky’ despite slowing economy: Bloomberg

Bloomberg's Erik Hertzberg reports wage pressures continue to be ‘sticky’ in Canada, even as the job market slows, a scenario the central bank warns may derail progress on inflation. Recent payrolls data from Statistics Canada show wages rising at a pace of between 4.5 per cent and 5.5 per cent, according to the Bloomberg report.
