Demand for nuclear engineers and scientists, as well as technicians, machinists and certified tradespeople is on the rise, the Globe reports.

Efforts to decarbonize the electricity sector have coalesced into support for designing and building new reactors, even as aging facilities are overhauled – leading to a proliferation of announced nuclear projects and a surge in demand for nuclear engineers and scientists, as well as technicians, machinists and certified tradespeople, the Globe and Mail’s Matthew McClearn reports.
