Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly is in China for a three-day visit to discuss ways to improve the relationship between the two countries, CBC’s Philip Ling reported. Joly will meet with Wang Yi, China's foreign minister, to have "in-depth communication on China-Canada relations and issues of common concern to promote the improvement and development of bilateral relations,” according to the CBC report, which cited a Chinese foreign ministry statement. The unannounced visit begins today, CBC said.
