National Bank CEO: Capital gains tax sends wrong signals

The pushback continues on the government’s plan to impose new capital gains taxes. The latest person to wade into the debate is the CEO of National Bank of Canada, Laurent Ferreira, who told BNN Bloomberg in an interview that it “does not send the right signal for risk-taking, for investments, innovation or wealth creation.”
